You Matter 5k & 15k Bike Ride

Join us on September 19th as we walk, run, and ride for a cause!

PARTICIPATE FROM ANYWHERE! Your participation will make a difference to someone in our community! The You Matter 5k Walk/Run & 15k Bike Ride serves as one of Pregnancy Resource Clinic’s biggest fundraisers! This annual event invites both individuals and families to raise funds or pay a $35 registration fee* to benefit Pregnancy Resource Clinic and participate in one of the event activities. Registrants are able to participate either in person or on their own.

In Person

Runners and walkers complete our mapped 5k course through a beautiful State College walking path and neighborhood. Timing is available for runners who wish to compete, and medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each category. (1st Overall M&F plus M&F in 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)

Bikers enjoy a 15k bike ride along one of the State College bike paths. This event is not timed. Low-speed, pedal-assist Class 1 e-bikes are allowed but nothing greater.

Those unable to walk, run, or bike are invited to bring a rocking chair and “rock” through the duration of the event.

Refreshments and family friendly activities will be available throughout the day.

  • 7:45-8:45am – Check-in/Registration Open
  • 8:45 am – Opening Announcements
  • 9:00 am – Bikers and Rockers Begin
  • 9:05 am – Runners and Walkers Begin
  • 10:45 am – Awards Ceremony

On Your Own

Can’t join us in person? You can still be part of the fun! Register to participate, raise funds with the tools provided, and then complete a 5k walk/run or 10 mile bike ride on your own in your own neighborhood. You can log your route with a mapping app and/or send us a picture if you want to share your participation with the group. 

Any participant who registers by 8/31/26 will be guaranteed an event t-shirt.

Underwrite

Each year, we invite underwriters to partner with us to help cover the cost of the event and reach our fundraising goal. 5k underwriting levels are as follows:

DIAMOND: $5,000 or more
PLATINUM: $2,500 
GOLD: $1,000
SILVER: $750 
BRONZE: $500
